Key Responsibilities: Leadership and Team Development: Lead, train, and motivate the front-of-house team to promote a culture of excellent customer service, attention to detail, and professional growth. Operational Management: Oversee daily operations, including rostering, staff training, ordering, and ensuring seamless collaboration with kitchen management for effective integration between front-of-house and kitchen teams. Collaboration and Communication: Foster proactive communication with team members and owners. Act as a bridge between various stakeholders, ensuring smooth interactions and service delivery. Customer Experience Excellence: Manage customer experience enhancements, including the utilisation of devices for insect control and scenting solutions to promote a pleasant and welcoming atmosphere. Customer Interaction: Manage customer orders, service delivery, and feedback professionally. Serve food and drinks with a meticulous focus on quality, maintaining a "customers are always right" approach. Compliance and Cleanliness: Ensure the café meets health, safety, and hygiene regulations consistently. Maintain a clean and organised environment, addressing Council Health Inspection feedback diligently. Business Development and Analysis: Analyse business performance data to help owners make informed, data-driven decisions for improvement and increased revenues. Financial Management: Monitor financial performance, control costs, and work towards achieving revenue targets. Strategic Planning: Proactively schedule regular meetings with owners (weekly, fortnightly) to report on what is working well and identify areas for improvement. Marketing Support: Actively contribute to marketing efforts, including social media campaigns and business development activities. Collaborate with the marketing team to provide suggestions and track campaign effectiveness.
