Lead Educator - Childcare

Tasks Required: assisting in the preparation of materials and equipment for children's education and recreational activities managing children's behaviour and guiding children's social development preparing and conducting activities for children entertaining children by reading and playing games supervising children in recreational activities supervising the daily routine of children supervising the hygiene of children Our ideal applicant will also have: A strong knowledge of the EYLF/NQS A passion for creating programs that will allow children to thrive and develop in their own individual ways, while offering a range of different learning opportunities Someone who is a strong and effective communicator, that works well both within a team as well as on their own Willingness to identify, plan and engage in a range of different professional learning opportunities throughout the year Qualifications required: · ACECQA approved certificate III level qualification or actively working towards a certificate IIII in Early Childhood Education and Care · Valid `Employee' Working with Children Check · First Aid, anaphylaxis and asthma qualifications · Protecting Children - Mandatory Reporting online learning · Food Handling Certificate and Safe Sleep Training is desirable Job Type: Full-time Pay: $73,500.00 – $75,000.00 per year Schedule: 8 hour shift Supplementary Pay: Overtime pay Education: Certificate I - IV (Preferred) Licence/Certification: Working with Children Check (Required) Work Authorisation: Australia (Required) Work Location: In person Expected Start Date: 01/04/2025
