About the role We are currently seeking passionate, motivated and energetic Kitchen Hand to join the Cruise Whitsundays team on a casual basis. This is your chance to create memorable guest experiences by supporting the Catering team to prepare and deliver exceptional high-quality food and assist the day-to-day kitchen operations. In addition to guest satisfaction, this role will involve overseeing hygiene, cleanliness and general safety in food preparation areas and assist with the delivery of stores and stock control. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Help prepare high quality food Help maintain high standard of food safety and hygiene – washing dishes, keeping the workspace clean and tidy. In this role you will be based at the Monarto Safari Resort and you will be responsible for supporting quality service delivery in the areas of room attendant, house person, laundry and public areas. Some of your tasks will include: Cleaning guests rooms Full turnover of guest rooms including bed, bathrooms, public areas and general cleaning duties Set up of guest rooms for arrival Cleaning public areas such as the restaurant, function and spa spaces Monitoring laundry facilities onsite. The responsibility of the Pontoon (Trade) Engineers is to supervise the maintenance and operation of the Reefworld and Heart Pontoons in a safe and efficient manner, while also conforming to the requirements set forth by GRMPA, AMSA, SMA, and Journey Beyond. The Pontoon Engineer must prioritize a strong dedication to safety and quality, guaranteeing the efficient and effective communication of vessel machinery and operations.
