Description

We are looking for a person to operate our Sheeting machine. Experience running machines is essential. This is a 40 hour work week, Monday to Friday in a small business located in the Smithfield area. We require hard working people who can work well in a team environment. Afternoon shift is an option after a training period, 4pm till 12pm. Please do not apply for this roll if you cannot work 40 hours per week or don't have some experience operating machinery.

About the Role This is a newly created role following the installation of a Press Brake machine at our Yatala branch. We are seeking an experienced individual who can hit the ground running. Standard hours are Monday to Thursday, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM, and Friday, 6:00 AM – 12:00 PM. Key Responsibilities: Pressbrake operator will operate 220T and 1000T machines Understand tooling and machine capabilities Perform all dimensional inspections Detect and report defective materials and cut quality Operate dual hoist gantry crane Perform prescribed maintenance as required Cleaning of work areas and tools Requirements Proven Pressbrake experience Strong communication skills The ability to solve problems Material handling Ability to read drawings Ability to work safely and efficiently Valid Forklift (LF) licence Please note, as health & safety is important to us, you will be asked to complete a pre-employment medical and drug screen if you are to be successful. Requirements Hold a current II/5-III/5 Integrating Rating Certification with 2 years current experience in Subsea operations. Sparrows Stage 3 Crane Operator certification with proven experience working on 400tonnage Subsea vessels is beneficial. Current MISC, BOSIET, AMSA Medical or similar and completed STCW safety training. Excellent communication and interface engagement skills to influence personnel at all levels. Competent with all work, health and safety practices at all times. Demonstrate a flexible, adaptable and resilient approach to meet vessel and company demands.
