Local HR Driver with general freight experience

Due to continued growth, we're looking for a reliable HR Driver and all rounder with general freight experience to join our Redbank team. You’ll be handling local pickups and deliveries of various freight restrained with various restraints. A manual licence and experience with chains and binders is desirable. Ideally the successful candidate will be willing to help in the yard as required. We are a busy team and work together across all the business to get the job done. If you have at least 2 years of experience in general or "ugly freight", experience securing unconventional loads with multiple restraint types and hold a manual HR licence we want to hear from you. If you're ready for a stable, full-time role with great perks, this is your chance Tasks & Responsibilities Operate Tautliner and Open rigid trucks, ensuring proper use of gates, tarps, chains and load restraint equipment. Ensure timely and safe delivery of goods to designated locations. Maintain a strong commitment to safety and professional presentation. Perform pre-start and end-of-day maintenance checks on vehicles. Collaborate effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Qualifications & Experience Must hold a HR manual licence as a minimum. (Road ranger gearbox) Minimum 2 years of HR driving experience with general freight Sound knowledge of securing loads with tarps and multiple load restraints including straps, dog & chains and binders. A forklift ticket and willingness to help out in the yard as required is preferred Knowledge of the Brisbane metropolitan area. Willing to provide a clean driving record. Willing to undergo a pre-employment medical examination, police check and provide 1 recent work reference who will be contacted.
