I'm Korean and currently looking to complete my 88 days of regional work, preferably in WA I’m physically strong, a quick learner, and comfortable working outdoors. I’ve done fruit picking as a volunteer during school, and I’m keen to gain more experience in farm work. I bring a positive, can-do attitude to every job I take on. I currently hold a full Working Holiday Visa with no work restrictions, have an Australian driver's license (but no my own car), and am ready to start work immediately.! We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Irrigation Manager to lead the irrigation operations across the expansive Fitzroy macadamia developments in Gogango, Queensland, located just 65km southwest of Rockhampton. In this pivotal role, you will take charge of ensuring efficient and effective irrigation delivery across our macadamia orchards in the Fitzroy River region. Your expertise will be integral in shaping irrigation system design, overseeing installations, and optimising water management to support the growth and success of our premium macadamia orchards. Key Responsibilities: Reporting to the Area Manager - Fitzroy Macadamia Operations, you will: Provide expertise in irrigation system design and installation. Monitor water account balances and requirements across various users. Program, manage, and control automation systems. Guide orchard managers on irrigation requirements. Serve as a role model by demonstrating precise and safe work behaviours while reinforcing company policies and procedures. Coordinate the delivery of water through suppliers and infrastructure to meet user needs. Maintain strong and effective working relationships. Identify training needs and effectively manage team performance. Requirements To excel in this role, you will bring: Experience in the operation and management of pressurised irrigation systems. Proficiency in irrigation automation. Experience working with tree crops. A valid C-class driver’s license. Project management experience. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
