Our Perth Nursery, based in Oakford WA, has an exciting opportunity available for an experienced Nursery Manager, reporting directly to the Operations Manager. As a ‘hands on’ manager you will be accountable for the day-to-day Nursery operations. The main duties for this role include, but are not limited to: Accountable for the day to day operation of the Nursery To ensure daily production and maintenance duties are completed Organise repairs and maintenance of buildings, vehicles and nursery production equipment Stock management including the purchasing of stock, maintaining supplier relationships, stock rotation, quality assurance and distribution to branches Assist on major installations and removals and be available to help service customers' sites when required To ensure your success in this role, you should have: Certificate in Horticulture or related field Relevant industry experience Strong project management and planning skills Strong and proven leadership capability Ability to communicate and interact effectively with cross functional teams and suppliers Effective time management and organisational skills Experience in the use of computer software including Microsoft office and other basic equipment Able to handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently and successfully Demonstrated ability to meet assigned targets and deadlines consistently If you are looking for a challenging role, then this is the role for you! We are currently seeking 1 person to fill the position of Nanny/Childcare worker on our vegetable farm in Scott River which 50 minutes drive south of Margaret River. Your own accomodation unit is available in a fully contained unit approximately 100m from our main residence which includes all amenities and unlimited wifi. Work is 5 - 6 days per week and usually around 50 hours per week. The pay rate is hourly and is above the award rate. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Irrigation Manager to lead the irrigation operations across the expansive Fitzroy macadamia developments in Gogango, Queensland, located just 65km southwest of Rockhampton. In this pivotal role, you will take charge of ensuring efficient and effective irrigation delivery across our macadamia orchards in the Fitzroy River region. Your expertise will be integral in shaping irrigation system design, overseeing installations, and optimising water management to support the growth and success of our premium macadamia orchards. Key Responsibilities: Reporting to the Area Manager - Fitzroy Macadamia Operations, you will: Provide expertise in irrigation system design and installation. Monitor water account balances and requirements across various users. Program, manage, and control automation systems. Guide orchard managers on irrigation requirements. Serve as a role model by demonstrating precise and safe work behaviours while reinforcing company policies and procedures. Coordinate the delivery of water through suppliers and infrastructure to meet user needs. Maintain strong and effective working relationships. Identify training needs and effectively manage team performance. Requirements To excel in this role, you will bring: Experience in the operation and management of pressurised irrigation systems. Proficiency in irrigation automation. Experience working with tree crops. A valid C-class driver’s license. Project management experience. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Exceptional attention to detail. Excellent organizational and time management skills. While experience in a corporate agricultural environment and formal safety training are highly regarded, they are not essential.
