2003 Mazda 323 Astina hatchback 1.8 litre petrol engine with 207,000km, runs well on 91 octane unleaded 5 speed manual transmission Is registered and roadworthy, expires 1st November 2025, can have another 6 months rego put on it after that without inspection Just replaced rear shock absorbers (KYB) and sway bar links, front control arms and 4 new tyres (Davanti) for rego on 1st may. Also changed engine oil and filter (Penrite HPR-10 and Ryco) at this time. Has factory owners manual and service log up to 167k km, I’ve had it since 172k km and serviced myself since then every 10k km, as I am a qualified motorcycle mechanic. Things I know of that are wrong with it… Rh rear door lock and boot lock does not work with the central locking (needs new actuators) but can be locked and unlocked manually. The drivers window tint needs replacing. The external mirror housings have been cracked and repaired with automotive grade epoxy (Wurth glue) they have held fine the whole time I’ve had it. And there are 2 small spots of superficial rust, I in each front door. The car is in excellent mechanical condition, is mostly straight in the body and does not have faded paint. Drives great, good on fuel and easy to park. Is built in Japan. Asking $3,500, open to offers. My reason for selling is that my boss offered me his RAV4 at a good price.
