We have 2 private rooms available in South Wentworthville (2145), each for $250 per week. Fully furnished, available now, everything else you need provided! (If you have your own furniture, that's ok, too! We'll move stuff out for you.) The House: Our house is a 2 storey, 5 bedroom, 3 bathroom house with large living areas, outdoor entertainment areas & large yards. The house is in a quiet cul-de-sac street & walking distance to a variety of local shops (Aldi, takeaway, convenience, etc). Bus stop at end of street to Parramatta, for all shopping needs & great for UWS students. Also one short bus ride to Merrylands (Stocklands & train station), Wentworthville (shops & train station) or Westmead (train station & hospital) - super handy for any Westmead Hospital workers or trainees. The Rooms: The first room is upstairs & shares the floor with another room & a bathroom. The room is large & comes fully furnished with a bunk bed frame with queen bed mattress on the bottom. (Note the top bunk is a single bed, but does not have a mattress in it as we were using it as storage space. You are welcome to bring/buy a mattress to pop on top, or continue to use as storage area.) The room has large built in wardrobes as well as shelving (which you can choose to keep in there, or we can move out for you). There are quality block-out blinds up, too! The upstairs bathroom services the two upstairs bedrooms. So you'll only be sharing the bathroom with 1 other housemate. The second room is downstairs in the front of the house, which also has another smaller room & a full bathroom (including bath tub). This is the "guest bathroom", as it is a full bathroom on the ground floor, but generally this is shared between the 2 rooms at the front of the house. This means you'll generally only be sharing this bathroom with 1 other housemate. This room is also large & comes fully furnished with a double bed, under-stairs built-in cupboard & large shelves. This room has timber venetians to block out sun as required & the windows front onto the covered verandah of the house. You are more than welcome to use the common areas of the house, too. We have a large living area with lounge, sofabed, fireplace & flat-screen TV with multitudes of streaming services available at no charge to you. Washer and dryer are provided free for your use. There is a small but functional kitchen, where you are welcome to use the kitchen utensils & appliances (as long as you look after them well!) & a large dining area with full dining setting & plenty of storage. There is a balcony at the back with a BBQ & outdoor furniture, a large backyard, a covered entertainment & storage area at the side of the house & a front balcony with patio settings as well as a front yard where we grow herbs and veggies. Your Potential Housemates: I (Leo) live here with my friend Josh & his cousin Aleisha, who is studying. I work in coding & Josh is a streamer so we can usually be found on our PCs, or in the garden or entertainment areas. We like to think of ourselves as respectful housemates. Then there's Lulu, my dog. She's a little excitable & (as a kelpie x staffy) a little big, but she loves people and people love her. She'll bark to tell us when someone approaches our property, but then wants to shower any newcomers with love when they arrive! She is not, however, a fan of cats or other dogs, so no four-legged sharemates can join us. The Numbers: The rent for each room is $250 per week not including bills. Bills are electricity, water usage & internet and currently come to about $20 per person per week. The bond for each room is $500. Bond payment is required to secure the room/s & we can then book a move-in date. The day before move in date, 2 weeks' rent is required. Then 2 weeks' rent paid fortnightly in advance after that.
