Job Description We are looking for a qualified Print Production Manager (Manufacturing) who can work within a dynamic and high performing environment with experience with screen printing, embroidery and heat transfers Key duties will include but not be limited to: · Develop and implement print production schedules and workflow policies to ensure optimal use of resources and timely delivery of print materials. · Oversee quality control procedures to maintain high standards of print accuracy, color consistency, and material integrity. · Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and efficiency gains while maintaining quality standards. · Supervise and support print production staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and conducting performance evaluations. · Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, with a focus on safe operation of printing machinery and related equipment. · Collaborate with departments such as procurement, design, logistics, and sales to ensure production aligns with project requirements and client expectations. · Stay current with industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in print production to enhance capabilities and output quality. · Ensure regular maintenance and safety inspections of all print equipment and machinery to prevent downtime and ensure a safe work environment. · Maintain and enforce standard operating procedures to streamline production and minimize errors or delays. Key Requirements: · Skilled in using Adobe Creative Suite, Canva or CorelDRAW for print file preparation. · Hands-on experience in operating heat presses, screen printing and embroidery machines · Over 5 years of practical experience in managing apparel customization or uniform production workflows · Deep knowledge of production management. · Excellent organizational and leaderships skills. · Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills under pressure · Proven experience in inventory management of raw materials, inks, and printing materials. · Excellent verbal and written communication skills. · A degree in Business Administration is preferred; an MBA is a plus but not essential. · Ability to source reliable suppliers and manage cost-effective procurement strategies · Understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulations. The position is part-time and is available for an immediate start, working on average 20 hours a week with an early start and early finish. This role is ideal for a self-motivated, honest and reliable person capable of working both in a team and independently. Applicants must have current Australian forklift and driver's licences.
