This vehicle is for sale for parts and as a complete unit/vehicle. I have seen one single door posted on line at over $600. It ceased to function about twelve months ago. Our local mechanic, who knows it well, stated it was probably a computer/engine control malfunction. The car is otherwise in good condition. Its engine was rebuilt in late 2019 and since then it has done approximately 9000 kms per year. There is no rust. The vehicle has not been in any accidents. The panels and doors are straight. The headlights are somewhat cloudy and the front left has condensed droplets. The seat leather is good. Minimal scuff marks. The interior overall is very good. The door undersill on the driver's side is scored, otherwise the panels have a few scuffs and one scar on the rear passenger side rear wing. That withstanding the exterior paint work is in fairly good, to pretty good condition. The tires are good and the suspension struts were replaced about 7000 kms ago. The trailing rear arms were replaced about 30000 kms ago. There is a new central radio/GPS unit fitted. The reggo is in my name- and is for a pensioner. The personalised plates will not come with the vehicle. This car would suit either a BMW enthusiast looking for a project or a specialist seeking a source of parts. This E 39 5 series BMW is now rare as it has the 4.4 litre powerful and preferred engine. Two windows appear to have faltered although that may reflect the flat battery or the computer controls. The automatic gearbox has always functioned well. Oil changes have been regular by our local garages and local mechanic. There is quite a lot of post 2019 documentation.
