Responsibilities: We’re looking for qualified Automotive Mechanics to join our Villawood team. You'll inspect, repair, and prep vehicles to meet CARS24’s high standards before delivery. Your responsibilities will include: Conducting mechanical, electrical, and safety inspections Diagnosing faults and performing repairs on brakes, suspension, engines, and more Preparing vehicles for roadworthiness and compliance Performing quality control checks before handover Documenting all work completed for compliance and transparency Collaborating with operations and delivery teams to keep things moving smoothly Requirements Cert III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology, RWC License or equivalent Solid mechanical experience in a dealership or high-volume workshop Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills Keen attention to detail and commitment to safety Great teamwork and communication skills Current Australian driver’s licence Willingness to undergo a police and background check Bonus: RWC certification, or auto-electrical experience Benefits Competitive salary + super + overtime available Monday to Friday, with paid weekend and extra shift opportunities Tools provided or monthly allowance available Access to a $500/year wellness allowance $60/month phone allowance On-site parking at our Villawood facility Real opportunities for career progression and development Work with, and help scale a billion-dollar Auto Tech Startup! You’ll be responsible for inspecting and certifying vehicles for roadworthiness, ensuring that our customers drive away in only the safest, most reliable vehicles. Responsibilities: Vehicle Inspections: Conduct thorough mechanical, electrical, and cosmetic inspections to ensure every vehicle meets the highest standards of safety and performance. Roadworthy Certification: Perform required roadworthy checks and ensure all vehicles meet necessary compliance standards before delivery. Repairs & Maintenance: Diagnose mechanical issues and carry out repairs, including brake repairs, engine diagnostics, and suspension work. Collaboration: Work closely with our internal teams to ensure a seamless workflow and high standards of customer satisfaction.
