You’ll be responsible for inspecting and certifying vehicles for roadworthiness, ensuring that our customers drive away in only the safest, most reliable vehicles. Responsibilities: Vehicle Inspections: Conduct thorough mechanical, electrical, and cosmetic inspections to ensure every vehicle meets the highest standards of safety and performance. Roadworthy Certification: Perform required roadworthy checks and ensure all vehicles meet necessary compliance standards before delivery. Repairs & Maintenance: Diagnose mechanical issues and carry out repairs, including brake repairs, engine diagnostics, and suspension work. Collaboration: Work closely with our internal teams to ensure a seamless workflow and high standards of customer satisfaction. Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of all inspections, repairs, and certifications completed. Quality Control: Perform final checks and quality control before vehicle handover to ensure top-quality delivery. Requirements 🔧 What We're Looking For: Roadworthy Certification: A valid RWC licence is highly desired —to perform roadworthy checks. Mechanical Expertise: Proven experience as a Roadworthy Mechanic with strong knowledge of automotive systems and diagnostic tools. Attention to Detail: You have a sharp eye for identifying issues and defects, ensuring every vehicle is fully compliant and ready for our customers. Problem Solving: You enjoy diagnosing and solving mechanical issues, and you’re confident in performing repairs. Team Player: You work well with others and are committed to maintaining a positive, productive team environment. Communication Skills: You communicate clearly, whether with team members or customers, ensuring everyone’s on the same page. Qualifications: Formal automotive qualifications (e.g., Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology) and/or current RWC Licence are essential.
