Job Overview: We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Pastry Chef to lead the preparation and presentation of high-quality pastries, desserts, and baked goods. The ideal candidate has a strong background in pastry arts, excellent time management skills, and a passion for culinary innovation. Key Responsibilities: Design, prepare, and present a variety of baked goods, including cookies, cakes, croissants, muffins, brownies and more. Execute new recipes and seasonal menus in line with our brand and customer preferences. Manage pastry production schedules to ensure timely service. Oversee quality control and maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and safety in the kitchen. Order and manage inventory of baking ingredients and supplies. Train and supervise junior pastry staff, ensuring consistency and skill development. Collaborate with other chefs and departments to ensure cohesive menu offerings and kitchen efficiency. Requirements: Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or in a similar role. Culinary degree or equivalent formal training in pastry arts preferred. Strong knowledge of baking techniques, pastry trends, and food safety standards. Creative flair with a meticulous eye for detail. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks. Excellent communication and team leadership skills. Preferred Skills: Experience in high-volume or cafe bakery.
