Courier Drivers - Parcel Delivery

Looking for experienced MR truck driver who can drive manual and use straps. $30ph 40 to 50hrs a week with a minimum guarantee of $1300. Driver performance review every 6 to 7 months if all goes well each successful review will result in a permanent payrise. Pay structure is first payment is a fortnight, followed by weekly payments onwards. We are fair and do our best to look after drivers, you won't find this deal and guarantee anywhere else! We looking for premium drivers, to help our business thrive and grow and also to be part of the team long term. Hours worked is when you get to your first pick up location and finish your last drop. Not as soon as you wake up out of bed and the drive home! Fork on/Fork off, Work starts from home, you will be given your first drop the day before, really easy work just drive and strap down items. If so, Niche Logistics wants you! We're seeking an experienced and reliable Forklift Driver to join our new Villawood based team. This role will consist of loading and unloading rail containers both rear entry and tautliner/curtain sided containers as well as staging freight and loading and unloading local HR PUD trucks. This is full time position 5.30am - 2.00pm per day with potential for some overtime as required. Key Requirements: Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a busy transport depot, loading and unloading containers and HR trucks. MUST HAVE specific experience with general and container freight and curtain sided containers (Mandatory) Current Forklift License. Proficient in loading and unloading inbound and outbound freight from containers and on flatbed and tautliner trailers. Experience securing loads and using various restraint methods including straps and chains. Strong attention to detail, a “can do” attitude, and commitment to safety and customer service. Physically fit and willing to assist with manual lifting when needed. Must pass a pre, employment medical examination, police check and provide recent work references. Responsibilities: Efficiently load and unload freight from linehaul trucks, containers and local PUD vehicles, ensuring proper restraint and secure storage. Conduct checks on load restraints and packaging before transport. Report any damages to freight or equipment promptly.
