ACT Cabs (Canberra Taxi Service) is hiring and training new taxi drivers in Canberra. Day and Night shifts are available. North and South side taxis are available. Weekday and Weekend shifts are available. Immediate start is available for drivers that already have a valid ACT Taxi driver license (upon company induction). We offer great working conditions and you're backed by an experienced team of support staff that know the taxi industry inside out. Important: This job is only available for persons based in Australia. Applicants based overseas will not be accepted. New Drivers (people with no experience) We also train new taxi drivers. If you don't already have a taxi driver licence then to be eligible, you need to have a full Australian Driver License. New drivers will need to complete the following items to obtain a Taxi Licence. It is a fast process and we will guide you: 1. Working with Vulnerable People Check (WWVP) 2. Basic Medical Examination 3. You will be provided training before you commence your driving job. Training can be completed at home and is fast and easy. Job Description: As a courier driver, you will be responsible for providing reliable and safe transportation of parcels to our customers.
