Ensure timely and safe delivery of goods to designated locations. Maintain a strong commitment to safety and professional presentation. Perform pre-start and end-of-day maintenance checks on vehicles. Collaborate effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Qualifications & Experience Must hold a HR manual licence as a minimum. (Road ranger gearbox) Minimum 2 years of HR driving experience with general freight Sound knowledge of securing loads with tarps and multiple load restraints including straps, dog & chains and binders. A forklift ticket and willingness to help out in the yard as required is preferred Knowledge of the Brisbane metropolitan area. Willing to provide a clean driving record. Willing to undergo a pre-employment medical examination, police check and provide 1 recent work reference who will be contacted. About the Role Journey Beyond is currently seeking experienced and passionate Coach Drivers to join our team to support our Expedition Ghan Season, in Coober Pedy from April to November. December to March you will tour to Victoria, covering areas such as Stawell, Grampians, Inverleigh, Golden Plains Shire and attractions in Melbourne. These positions are central to ensuring a high level of service delivery for guests during off train excursions. Coach drivers will be responsible for the complete operation and safety of the coach. You will be a confident individual with excellent communication skills to actively engage with our guests, ensuring an excellent guest experience. You will also have extensive knowledge and experience in the tourism and/or transport industry. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Deliver high standard of customer service to all passengers / customers, creating a positive experience on every service Comply with company and department safety policies & procedures Consistently ensure the safety of yourself, your passengers and your vehicle Provide interactive and engaging day tours for guests Clean and maintain the inside and outside of Coach, and assist with cleaning and detailing, of other coaches to prepare for next day tours. You will work a varied roster of 5 days on, 2 off In addition, we expect you to be able to manage your time well and conduct pre-departure safety checks. From time to time you may also have to perform minor mechanical repairs to the coach. All meals and accommodation are paid for by the company. The Parts & Accessories Distribution Lead will be responsible for optimizing the parts inventories in the Australian based regional PDC (Parts Distribution Centre) located in Leverton Melbourne as well as those of retail and service partners to provide the highest possible customer fill rate while balancing the working capital requirements.  The Parts & Accessories Distribution Lead will be responsible for consulting retail partners on parts operations and identifying coaching opportunities by monitoring key performance indicators, while also engaging with logistics vendors to ensure parts logistics are providing the highest possible service levels to our retail partners and end customer. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): Setup, manage and monitor regional parts distribution centre Retail Partner on line parts issue support Safeguard regional Parts availability Training and process improvement Identification of wider product issues and contingency plan roll-out Parts and accessory pricing – regular bench marking against OEM and aftermarket offerings Set and monitor logistics KPI for 3PL partner What we are looking for: Significant Aftersales & Operational automotive experience, which could include vehicle manufacturer or wider motor trade experience Recognisable technical qualification or qualified by experience in automotive parts supply chain management or retail parts operation The right candidate will have an automotive aftersales background, strong analytical skills and be able to work to a very wide scope of expectations and wear many different hats Strategically leverage relationships with vendors and business partners to drive performance along key business initiatives Very strong drive for continuous improvement – a Kaizen mentality If the role sounds of interest and you want to learn more, please apply.
