1970 Ford Fairmont 351 Factory V8/AUTO 4D SEDAN

1970 XW Fairmont 351 (Original Factory Y Code V8 302 Auto) Rare Factory Lime Frost Metallic Green. Beautiful Excellent Solid Straight Clean Body, good floors and sill panels no rust. Quarter panels clean no rust all original inside floors and boot areas. Had a Quality respray years back still presents very well. T/Bar Auto, Interior is in good condition as has been redone years back. Needs a restored Dash Crash Pad. Have genuine rims XW GT 14". Also Has 14x7 original Hustler Alloys with BF Goodrich Tyres. Suspension has been slightly lowered and sits beautifully. XW GT Front spoiler fitted. Momo wood grain steering wheel fitted. Have original Radio. I purchased this great car (privately) from owner in Darwin Northern Territory (Ford Enthusiast) in January 2019. Done approx 2200 miles. Below Engine Description was all rebuilt as follows-- 351 Cleveland Engine (XA), block acid dipped, new cam bearings, bored block 030. new welsh plugs. Replaced rod bolts, resized con rods, check line bore, honed lifter bores. Fully overhaul cylinder heads, new valves, machine heads for screw in studs, new valve springs, collets and retainers. New - Pistons, rings, big end bearing, main bearing, camshaft (hydraulic), lifters, and timing chain. New oil pump, oil pump drive. Engine has roller rocker, electronic dist that has been curved to suit the combo, 750 Holley Accelerator intake manifold, 2v extractors, 2.1/2 exhaust with X pipe super cat mufflers. When the engine was built was fitted new water pump, starter, alt ext. absolutely no short cuts built the engine as close to GT spec with (2v heads) has nice GTHO idle and starts and drives mint. C4 / C10 Auto. The transmission has a stage 2 shift kit . This was fully rebuilt with no expense spared either, has a 3000 stall set up for street driving. Also fitted with deep alloy pan, braded trans lines with good trans cooler. When the auto was done - fitted new GT A/C spec radiator, shroud and fan. The shaker base on this car is believed to be original and have had it completely restored now. 9" 3.5 Diff ratio LSD , 28 spline - very tight, oil serviced recently. Have invoice last December 2024 major service . Vehicle has been fully serviced last December 2024, replaced Brake master cylinder and overhauls original Brake booster. GENUINE REASON FOR SALE.
