Your role will be pivotal in delivering cloud strategy, architecture, and governance best practices while mentoring teams and driving technical excellence. Key Responsibilities: Lead the end-to-end design, implementation, and optimisation of hybrid cloud platforms across, AWS, Azure, GCP and on-premise environments. Develop and execute robust cloud and DevSecOps strategies for banking and financial services clients, ensuring alignment with industry regulations and security best practices. Provide technical leadership and architectural direction, offering hands-on support across complex infrastructure projects. Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders including C-suite executives, architects, security teams, and engineers to deliver scalable and secure cloud solutions. Champion best practices in cloud security, cost management, performance optimisation, and operational resilience. Drive adoption of Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation, and CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Terraform, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar. Implement and manage Configuration Management tools such as Chef or Ansible to streamline provisioning and maintain consistency across environments. Ensure cloud and on-prem environments meet stringent data protection, compliance, and risk management requirements. Mentor and support the development of junior consultants and engineering teams, promoting knowledge sharing and continuous improvement Skills & Experience Required: Extensive hands-on experience in at least one of the major clouds AWS, Azure, GCP and on-premise infrastructure. Proven experience in the banking or financial services sector, with a deep understanding of regulatory compliance and risk frameworks. Strong expertise in cloud architecture, networking, and DevSecOps, including secure design principles and policy-as-code. Proficiency in CI/CD tools and practices, as well as IaC technologies such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates. Experience with Kubernetes platforms (GKE, EKS, AKS), microservices architecture, APIs, and containerisation. Practical knowledge of Configuration Management tools such as Chef and Ansible, in addition experience in deriving patching strategies, inclusive of SBOM’s (Software Bill Of Materials).   along with the ability to derive patching  Demonstrated experience in agile methodologies, with excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills across all organisational levels.
