ABOUT THE ROLE: Join our team as an Assistant Camp Manager at Drysdale River Station in the Kimberley Region of Western Australia. In this hands-on role, you will assist the Camp Manager in creating unforgettable guest experiences by actively engaging in all aspects of the Camp operations, including housekeeping, food and beverage service, and general upkeep of the lodges. Your contributions will help foster a collaborative atmosphere where exceptional service and hospitality can thrive. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Take a hands-on approach by doing the work as well as assist in the daily operations of the lodge, personally coordinating and completing tasks among front of house, housekeeping, restaurant, and maintenance teams to ensure a seamless guest experience. Collaborate with the Camp Manager to implement policies and procedures aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and elevating guest satisfaction. Prioritise safety across all operational facets to create a secure environment for both guests and staff. Monitor guest feedback and help to address any concerns, assisting in orchestrating resolutions that contribute to a memorable experience for all visitors. Foster strong relationships with key suppliers and stakeholders, ensuring the lodge's operational needs are met effectively. This is a remote position, and you will be required to live and work at the property for the entire season. We provide all meals and accommodation. Please be aware of the unique challenges and limitations associated with long-term remote living. ABOUT YOU: The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a passion for hospitality. You will thrive in a team environment, supporting your colleagues and contributing to a high-quality experience for our guests. Requirements: A true appreciation for nature and commitment to sustainability. A minimum of 3 years of experience in hospitality, ideally in assistance roles. Experience in high-end food and beverage services is preferred. A Food Safety Supervisor certificate is advantageous. A Medium or Heavy Rigid licence is highly advantageous. A NT or WA Passenger Endorsement is highly advantageous. A Remote First Aid and CPR certificate is required. A valid driver's licence for WA/NT/QLD is essential. Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. A National Criminal History Check is a mandatory step in the recruitment process.
