About the role: As Assistant Village Manager, you’ll work side-by-side with the Village Manager to ensure the smooth and successful running of the community. From supporting day-to-day operations and coordinating maintenance to helping deliver engaging resident activities, you’ll be a central figure in creating a place residents love to call home. And when the Village Manager is away, you’ll step up to keep everything running on track, making this an ideal opportunity to build your operational and leadership experience. What you’ll be doing: Keeping the village running smoothly – from admin and compliance to resident support Assisting with business plans, budgets, and reporting Coordinating unit turnovers and curating a fun, inclusive social calendar Building strong relationships with residents, contractors, and committees Supporting a safe, caring, and connected community culture Driving improvement and innovation wherever you see the opportunity What you’ll bring: Strong people skills and a commitment to outstanding service Commercial smarts and basic financial know-how A calm, collaborative and solutions-focused approach Solid Microsoft Office skills Confidence to work independently and juggle competing priorities Bonus points for: Experience in retirement living, hospitality, property, or facilities Understanding of relevant legislation (like the Retirement Villages Act) Exposure to team leadership or supervision Why join Levande?
