The Depot Bondi is looking for an experienced and passionate Baker to lead our boutique bakery. If you have strong technical baking skills, thrive in a leadership role, and are proficient in viennoiserie, this is an opportunity to take charge in a dynamic, high-quality kitchen environment. About the Role This is a hands-on leadership position requiring a 5-day commitment, including one weekend day. You’ll collaborate with the culinary team to maintain excellence in food and service, while ensuring efficient kitchen operations. Key Responsibilities Lead and mentor a dedicated baking team. Maintain and enforce strict health and hygiene standards. Communicate kitchen updates effectively with colleagues and management. Oversee food cost control, inventory management, and business operations. What We’re Looking For Ideally Cert IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent. Minimum 5 years of comparable experience in baking and pastry. Strong knowledge of WHS regulations and best practices. Ability to multi-task and perform under pressure.
