OSHC Area Manager (Programs Engagement Manager) - Perth, Western Australia The Extend Group invites applications from stellar Educational Managers to lead a small (but growing) cluster of Outside School Hours Care services in Western Australia. Salary: $90,000 - $99,000 package includes superannuation and incentive payments. Additional travel allowance is also applicable. Role: It’s a people and business management role, which requires someone with good emotional intelligence, a ‘can-do’ attitude, and a solution focused approach. Completing daily visits to centres and regular educator training sessions, forms an important part of this leadership and middle management role. This position reports to the National Programs Manager. It’s based in Perth and includes travel to Melbourne once a month for meetings, training and professional development. Key Responsibilities: • Lead, manage and train a cluster of OSHC teams. • Build & maintain excellent relationships with educators, principals, school staff, parents, regulatory authorities, and suppliers. • Oversee service management, including staffing, program design, business management, and motivating and inspiring teams. • Prepare and support educators for Assessment and Rating reviews. Criteria: • Past people management experience in childcare is a strong advantage. • Demonstrated area management or remote team management experience is favourable. • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain excellent relationships internally and externally. • Proven past success in management in any sector with the ability to demonstrate measurable outcomes. • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are essential. • Current WA Working with Children's Check, First Aid HLTAID012, and Child Protection Training or willing to obtain. • Current driver's license and own car (travel allowance provided). • Completed a Diploma or above in Child Care, Education, Community Services, or equivalent.
