We are a fast-growing Specialised Equipment Product Sales, Service/Repair and Solutions business throughout Australia.  We pride ourselves on our unrivalled customer service within the Mining, Oil & Gas, Power and Energy, Civil Infrastructure, Rail and Communications sectors.   We are currently seeking a CASUAL Hydraulic Mechanical Fitter to join our close-knit team at Port Hedland to work in our workshop.  You must have strong work ethic, customer & safety focus, allowing you to add value within our existing Branch operations.  The successful applicant would be required to normally work dayshift, and we are flexible with respect to working hours between 7am – 5pm on days you are engaged. However, on some occasions night shift working hours may be required as you will potentially be working assignments at Customer sites requiring multiple days of site work (generally up to five days). Requirements About the role: Your background may be diverse, however if you have experience in any of the following typical areas that align with our business, we are certainly interested in talking with you about the opportunities we can offer and your suitability towards the position we are offering.   -       Heavy and/or Light Automotive servicing, repair and maintenance -       Field Service and Mobile Maintenance activities -       Industrial Hydraulics Equipment & Systems -       Mine Site Shutdown & Maintenance work -       Engineering Workshop or Fabrication experience -       Equipment Maintenance and Calibration -       Equipment Asset Management programs -       Equipment Test/Tag/Calibration processes -       Hydraulic Jacking Equipment service, repair and maintenance  -       The service, repair and maintenance of pneumatic and hydraulic equipment across the Mining, Rail, Electrical and other Industries -       Customer Site based Service/Repair, Test, Tag and Calibration activities. -       Etc·         You will be responsible for the efficient Assessment & Service/Repair of the Specialised Equipment we supply to our customers’. Key activities shall include:   ·         Fault find and problem solve ·         Conduct equipment strip/assess and service/repair activities ·         Become involved in planned Test, Tag and Calibration of Customer equipment asset management programs. ·         Compile work activity summaries which are key to Customer reporting requirements. ·         Providing excellent Customer Service. ·         Being part of a small Branch team the need for assisting and/or supporting team members from time to time will be required. ·         Complete planned and preventative maintenance on machines ·         Assist with technical services and maintenance work ·         Provide advice on maintenance issues.   About you ·         Australian Recognised Trade Certificate (Cert III or above) ·         Australian Drivers licence ·         An ability to proactively work in a fast-paced environment ·         Disciplined attention to detail and accuracy ·         Strong organisation and team working skills ·         Work in an autonomous with a dynamic and flexible team ·         Ability to read hydraulic drawings ·         Basic hydraulic and electrical experience advantageous   Benefits What we are offering for the ideal Candidate: ·         Competitive salary ·         Superannuation ·         Casual ongoing role ·         Flexibility of hours   Don’t miss this exciting opportunity to join an established and growing organisation.  Click “Apply” to apply with your cover letter and updated CV.
