Alder Group have a deep-rooted presence in the Gold Coast market for building community projects which stand the test of time! We have been successfully delivering Construction projects 22 years and as we continue to grow, we have a rare opportunity available for an experienced Site Foreman to be part of our hardworking and dedicated Gold Coast team.   The successful candidate will be working on a diverse range of commercial construction projects in ranging from $5m - $30m+. This role will be reporting directly to the Project Manager and is a full-time position which requires a high calibre individual with a strong track record of On-Site experience.   If you are an experienced site foreman and have experience particularly in finishes with a hands-on approach, a strong trade background and have credibility gained from successfully completing building projects then we would love to hear from you.     About the role Conducting site inspections to ensure quality and safety outcomes, Be responsible for co-ordinating trades onsite Work with a site manager to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget and to our high standards. Co-ordinate the relationships between various trades and ensure that sub-contractors carry work out safely and efficiently. Maintain Alder’s strong reputation at all times. Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget and to our high standards Participate in regular WHS inspections and injury/incident investigations and maintain a healthy and safe work environment. Ensure environmental controls are suitable and implemented, monitored and reviewed. Review, understand and have input to all subcontractor and supplier scope of works. Organise completion of defect works in a timely manner. Participate in lesson learnt sessions to continuously improve the performance of the overall company team.   About You - Skills and Experience 3+ years experience in a similar role in class 2 – 9 construction as defined under the building codes of Australia (BCA) Relevant trade background and competencies Open Builders Supervision license issued by QBCC Excellent communication skills – both oral and written Willingness to lead and motivate team members A person who is enthusiastic, self-motivated and quality driven Be able to work collaboratively in a team environment  Commitment and understanding of the importance of time and financial goals Good computer/ mobile device skills for daily use of Programs & Apps (e.g. Procore)   About the business If you are looking for a role which is exciting, offers stability and allows you to have exposure to different projects then this could be the role for you!
