The Parts & Accessories Distribution Lead will be responsible for optimizing the parts inventories in the Australian based regional PDC (Parts Distribution Centre) located in Leverton Melbourne as well as those of retail and service partners to provide the highest possible customer fill rate while balancing the working capital requirements.  The Parts & Accessories Distribution Lead will be responsible for consulting retail partners on parts operations and identifying coaching opportunities by monitoring key performance indicators, while also engaging with logistics vendors to ensure parts logistics are providing the highest possible service levels to our retail partners and end customer. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): Setup, manage and monitor regional parts distribution centre Retail Partner on line parts issue support Safeguard regional Parts availability Training and process improvement Identification of wider product issues and contingency plan roll-out Parts and accessory pricing – regular bench marking against OEM and aftermarket offerings Set and monitor logistics KPI for 3PL partner What we are looking for: Significant Aftersales & Operational automotive experience, which could include vehicle manufacturer or wider motor trade experience Recognisable technical qualification or qualified by experience in automotive parts supply chain management or retail parts operation The right candidate will have an automotive aftersales background, strong analytical skills and be able to work to a very wide scope of expectations and wear many different hats Strategically leverage relationships with vendors and business partners to drive performance along key business initiatives Very strong drive for continuous improvement – a Kaizen mentality If the role sounds of interest and you want to learn more, please apply.
