Job Description: In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient collection of residential and commercial waste while adhering to all safety and operational guidelines. Key Responsibilities: Operate a rear lift waste truck to collect and transport waste Follow assigned routes and schedules efficiently Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Communicate with dispatch and report any issues Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients Maintain cleanliness and basic maintenance of the truck Requirements: Valid HR Drivers Licence Previous experience in waste collection or heavy vehicle driving (preferred) Good knowledge of local roads and routes in Brisbane Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and public holidays if required Strong commitment to safety and environmental practices Physical fitness to handle repetitive tasks and some lifting PPE Requirements: Long sleeve yellow and blue shirt with reflective strips Blue long pants with reflective strips Steel Cap Safety Boots Shift Information: Shift start between 2am through to 11am Monday to Friday and able to work either Saturday or Sunday.
