About You Our Waiters are responsible for the general presentation of the restaurant/events space, as well as welcoming and seating guests, taking guest orders, communicating them effectively to the kitchen, memorising the menu and offering recommendations to upsell appetizers, desserts, and/or drinks. In this role, not only will you service guests for our 6 and 8-course chef's tasting menu, but also work event bookings, from weddings to corporate lunches. You need to hold a valid RSA, be eligible to work within Australia and have the flexibility and reliability to work casually across, and up to, seven days a week. Ideally, you'll have experience in a fine dining or restaurant environment, however what really matters is your ability to present in a polished manner, communicate professionally and know how to deliver personal and memorable experiences to guests. Requirements Responsible Service of Alcohol (required) Safe Food Handling Certificate (required) Fine-dining experience (advantageous) Excellent food and beverage knowledge Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills Excellent presentation skills Ability to create, develop and service techniques for various guest needs Ability to work under pressure, set priorities and provide a high level of customer service A collaborative style with the ability to work in a team environment A pre-employment medical may be required as part of this recruitment process.
