We machine a wide range of Architecturally designed external Shiplap and Internal Wall Panel from six different locally grown Australian Hardwoods. All very different in their colour. Our Shiplap is ideal for external cladding being naturally fire resistant, durable and termite resistant. Rustic country cladding and wall panel is about course, earthy, simple lines and connecting back to nature. Unlike some, our Shiplap and Wall Panel is End Matched. The Shiplap is suited to both indoor and outdoor use while the Wall Panel is suited for indoor use out of weather only. GT Hardwood’s Shiplap and Internal Wall Panel timber cladding is machined as a “High Feature Grade”. It allows for all-natural features, including gum veins, insect markings, surface checks, burn marks, knots, cracks and small holes. The Forest Red Cladding and Internal Wall Panel is probably our best value for money at present. It will contrast beautifully against, painted, rendered, ply, steel, tin, or brick walls. Our Panel cladding and Shiplap normally comes in packs 6.0 long. We carry large quantity of loose stock in all colours and species for those who only need small amounts. Our Feature Grade is meticulously selected to capture the very best of nature’s calling cards. Every board is completely different to the other. Each wall can only be described as a unique piece of art! Within each specie there are also varying colours. The unique discoloration and variation seen along some of the boards is due to decades of adverse weather, wet weather, drought and fire. Our Shiplap Cladding is End-matched on both ends so there is no waste when the product is being installed. They can be secret nailed or screwed for internal or external applications. It’s very easy to install. Building design can enhance your timber’s durability. Wide overhangs will provide protection from the weather. The Wall Panel is best installed out of the weather.
