Gold Mining Lease in FNQ

This mining lease is located approximately 4 to 4.5 hours northwest of Cairns, south of Palmerville. The renewal for the next 10 years is paid, lodged and awaiting the final sign off from the minister. While most of the lease has been worked, there is still more than 2 hectares of untouched virgin alluvial deposits ready to be mined. Total lease size is 34 hectares. The lease also contains riverbeds which contain gold after being worked and tailings from previous workings still containing gold. This project is for sale as a small scale complete functional mining operation, being able to be worked with one to 2 people with the wash plant capable of up to 30 cubic metres per hour effectively with minimal losses. Some of the ground worked has exceeded 1 gram per cubic metre, while averages are around 0.2 grams per cubic metre. The majority of the virgin ground remaining is expected to exceed 1 gram per cubic metre. The gold in this area is around 98% pure, the best i have poured and cleaned by hand is 97.5% as scanned with an XRF. Water is seasonal, but with minimal work the existing water holes can be made permanent as well as a resource with fish, red claw and prawns. The camp and the area is comfortable to stay for weeks on end, although it is nothing extravagant. Everything can be upgraded, downgraded or maintained to your comfort level. Security cameras, locked gates, remoteness and the lack of nuggets tend to keep unwanted visitors away.
