Experienced in Hospitality, Retail & Security Education, Licences & Certificates • Year 12 • Certificate II, III, IV and Diploma in Hospitality • Licensees & Nominees First Step Certificate • Security / Crowd Control Licence • Responsible Serving of Alcohol (RSA) • Emergency First Aid • Fire Safety Level 1 Skills & Abilities • Contacts in the Bar/Nightclub / Police/Security Industries • Liaising with Victoria Police / Federal Police / Liquor Licencing / Local Council / Reps • A good knowledge of OH&S (Occupational Health and Safety) practice • Ability to listen to others • Ability to resolve potentially dangerous situations • Able to train and supervise new employees • Advising customers and clients • Fluent in English and Greek • Handle complaints effectively and politely • Experience in dealing with the public at all levels • Report and general correspondence at management level • Manage / Supervise up to 60 staff in all aspects in Hospitality, Retail and Security • Staff interviewing / selection and induction • Able to train and supervise new employees • Rostering staff / Group training / one on one training • Conducting meetings / Counselling • Ability to supervise staff, coordinate projects and administrative tasks • Experience and understanding in conflict resolution • Experience in developing teams • Ability to determine priorities • Flexible in approach to any situation to achieve best results • Ordering stock / Stock control / Stock rotations / Stacking stock / Pricing stock • Understanding and experience in Human Resource Development • Budget Management • Financial Management • Communication Skills • Using commercial equipment • Cleaning and Maintenance • Sales and purchasing • Promotions / Marketing • Bar skills • Signature cocktails and shots • Cash management (Responsible for amounts up to $150.000 weekly) • Handling money correctly / accurately / banking • Ability to set and meet goals • Ability to lead by example • Able to work effectively under pressure and much more Personal Qualities • Honesty • Committed • Hardworking • Organised • Loyal • Open minded • Professional Hobbies & Interests • AFL • Cricket • Health & fitness • Walking • Socialising I am aware of the importance of providing a professional level of customer service and the need to generate sales.
