This manufacturing business, situated in the Toodyay area, is looking for a reliable team-player with a positive attitude to operate a mineral supplements plant, producing lick blocks and loose licks for the cattle and sheep industry. This is an opportunity to be involved in an interesting and challenging job which is a hands-on role and a key position in a growing business. This position requires someone who can: Work with minimal supervision Meet quality standards Attend to raw material receivals and storage Plan production so that all orders are fulfilled on time Supervise and train casual plant assistants The successful applicant will need to: Be self-motivated, responsible and honest. Have at least two years’ experience in manufacturing. Possess mechanical aptitude. Have a forklift licence. Be physically fit. Be willing to work as a member of a team and to do whatever tasks need to be done. Have reliable transport. Have full working rights. Live within the local area (within 45 minutes’ drive from the plant). A high standard of spoken and written English as well as good numeracy skills are essential. Working according to written policies and procedures, weighing materials accurately and labelling products correctly are critical to the standard of the feed manufactured. On-site accommodation is not available. However, the plant is conveniently located 12 km from Toodyay and 25 km from Northam.
