Heavy Vehicle Driver Trainer & Assessor – Full-Time Opportunity Location: Kelmscott Company: Mega Truck Training Are you a heavy vehicle driving instructor/assessor with a passion for mentoring the next generation of operators? Mega Truck Training, a respected and locally owned Registered Training Organisation (RTO), is seeking a skilled and certified Heavy Vehicle Instructor/Assessor to join our professional training team. With over two decades of industry experience, Mega Truck Training is proud to deliver high-quality heavy vehicle training using a modern fleet of well-maintained trucks. Our hands-on training approach ensures students gain the real-world skills needed to succeed in today’s transport industry. About the Role This is a full-time role for a motivated and enthusiastic individual who can deliver practical and engaging truck driver training and assessment. You’ll play a key role in helping students gain their heavy vehicle licences by providing expert instruction and support throughout their learning journey. Key Responsibilities Deliver training and assessments for HR, HC, and MC class licences Train students in various transmission types: synchromesh, automatic, and Road Ranger Monitor and assess student performance during driving sessions Assist students with course-related assessments and RTO requirements Maintain accurate training records and adhere to compliance standards Provide constructive feedback to support student development Represent Mega Truck Training professionally and contribute to a supportive learning environment What We’re Looking For A current and unrestricted HR, HC, or MC driver’s licence (WA) Valid Department of Transport instructor accreditation (Blue Book) Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 or equivalent preferred) Strong communication skills with a friendly and professional approach Reliable, punctual, and dedicated to safety and quality training Ability to follow RTO compliance guidelines and maintain high standards Why Join Us?
