WHO YOU ARE
You are an experienced contracts professional with a strong background in construction and commercial project delivery. You understand how to manage procurement, assess risk, and ensure compliance with contract terms.
Bachelor’s or postgraduate qualification in Law, Engineering, Construction Management or a related field
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a senior contracts management role within the construction industry
Strong working knowledge of head and subcontract agreements, construction law, and procurement processes
Skilled in managing contract negotiations, claims, variations, and dispute resolution
Experience with contract compliance, financial controls, and reporting
Capable of reviewing scope documentation and overseeing the tendering process
Proficient in Jobpac, Microsoft Office, and construction management tools
Well-organised, with strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
WHAT YOU’LL DO
As Contracts Manager, you will oversee contract administration and procurement activities, ensuring commercial and contractual obligations are met and risks are effectively managed.
Manage the full contract lifecycle from tender to execution and finalisation
Lead contract negotiations, administration of claims, variations, and final accounts
Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with project objectives and timelines
Coordinate tender documentation preparation, evaluation, and award of subcontract packages
Identify and mitigate commercial risks, resolving contractual issues as they arise
Maintain accurate contract records and support financial reporting and audits
Work closely with project teams, consultants, subcontractors, and legal advisors
Provide leadership and support to Contracts Administrators and other team members
Maintain clear and professional communication with all stakeholders
