I need someone who knows what they are doing, what to listen for and who can properly appraise what I am doing and what I need to do to improve it.\n\nThe type of music I try to do is probably best described as 60's rock/ pop. Sometimes it could lean toward folk, sometimes funk. Generally I use vst drums and organs, I either record guitars or use a sim etc. I do vocals, hand percussion, DI bass, sometimes a real piano among other things.\n\nI'd really like to learn how to properly record tracks in my space, how to properly use my ears with the monitoring gear I have to assess recorded tracks - if they are good, fair or unusable.
