The role?   An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Valve Team Lead/Supervisor to join our team at EnerMech. This role will oversee all valve maintenance and management activities, ensuring that operations are executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with industry standards. You will be responsible for leading a team of technicians, maintaining documentation, and liaising with project managers and clients.  Promote a strong safety culture and ensure team compliance with OHS procedures. Supervise workshop activities, ensuring productivity, quality standards, and accurate documentation. Oversee administrative tasks including timesheets, procurement, quoting, and QA/QC documentation. Maintain NATA audit readiness and ensure compliance with accreditation standards. Coordinate equipment, personnel, and job execution in collaboration with internal teams and clients. Lead and support staff performance, training, and onboarding of new personnel. Provide technical support for valve inspections, testing, recertification, and optimisation. Conduct and document valve performance testing in line with procedures and acceptance criteria. Contribute to continuous improvement and standardisation initiatives within the valve workshop. Requirements 5 Years experience in the Oil and Gas / Power / Petrochemical industries Sound knowledge of Hydrostatic / Gas testing of valves and piping systems. Sound knowledge of repairing, maintaining and testing mechanical and pressure safety valves or similarly related equipment. Sound knowledge of Electric, Pneumatic and Hydraulic Actuators and systems. This role spans multiple service lines, including valve management, mechanical systems, pressure equipment, and hose certification, there is also an opportunity to supports shutdowns, overhauls, and maintenance scopes for major clients in energy, oil & gas, and alumina industries. This role is based in our Gladstone workshop with penalty rates on offer. You also have the opportunity to be involved in our regular maintenance shutdowns.
