As a Virtual Delivery Support Contractor, you won’t be front and centre, but you’ll be essential. You’ll help facilitators run smooth, professional sessions by managing breakout rooms, prepping run sheets, working closely with our Operations team making sure all the tech just… works. If you’re organised, Zoom-savvy, and happy being the silent hero in the background, then we’d love to hear from you. What You’ll Be Doing Running Zoom breakout rooms and screen sharing like a pro Setting the vibe with music and timers during breaks Liaising with the operations team on program activity Prepping run sheets and keeping things on time Coordinating knowledge checks Flagging any “uh-oh” scores to the PEI Coordinating end-of-day emails, permission to share details and post-session content Assisting with Poll Ev and other fun learning tools Doing basic tech setup (links, uploads, permissions) pre-session What You Won’t Be Doing Delivering content or introducing activities Facilitating or demonstrating program tools Doing any admin outside of live programs The Setup Programs run from 1 to 3 days, depending on format Work is offered session-by-session as required by customer You’ll work remotely from home with a flexible schedule Rate: ~$500 AUD/day (ex. Requirements About the Role We are seeking a Secondary Distance Education Teacher (Full-Time) to commence in Term 3 Week 1 (28 July 2025) to provide the following support within the Distance Education Team: Plan, prepare and deliver effective learning and teaching programs for every student in allocated classes. Contribute to the development and implementation of the school objectives and school planning. Contribute to the establishment and maintenance of an orderly learning environment. Plan, prepare and deliver quality and effective teaching and learning programs which are consistent with the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers; and relevant syllabi, curriculum policies, work programs and educational trends. Maintain teaching competency and currency of knowledge of relevant curriculum programs as required by the NESA. Support students through interaction with them in a variety of settings and through the active development of supportive learning environments and effective behaviour management practices. Provide for the physical, social, cultural and emotional wellbeing and physical safety of students and enhance their overall development towards effective citizenship and responsible adulthood through participation in timetabled, non-timetabled and planned extracurricular activities. Assess students (diagnostic, formative and summative) for developmental, feedback and reporting purposes. Maintain student records and samples of work and report on student performance to students, parents, the department and other stakeholders. Participate in the collaborative development and evaluation of curriculum (the sum total of all learning experiences) and regularly monitor, through observation and evaluation, the effectiveness of the learning/teaching program. Participate as appropriate, in school decision making processes and professional development. About You Have an active Christian faith. Have a suitable qualification and NESA accreditation (or be eligible). Be able to display the capacity to improve student learning and wellbeing outcomes. Be able to demonstrate excellent teaching as described by the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers. Be able to receive feedback on your Teaching and implement changes. Be able to effectively plan for, collect and analyse educational data, then devise appropriate strategies and interventions to improve student outcomes.
