Educational programs, incursions and pet therapy sessions

Description

Hi my name is Leanne and I would love to come and share the chicky love with you all! I’m an avid chook lover/breeder and Early Childhood Teacher with 20 years’ experience in education. I offer chick hatching programs, educational incursions and pet therapy sessions! The hatching program runs for 12 days and is suitable for a variety of settings - Early Childhood, Primary Schools, Aged Care, OOSH/Vacation Care, Family Day care and home settings and more! The program is a wonderful way to support children's understanding of a lifecycle, how to care for animals, develop empathy and communication skills and so much more! I offer the complete set up of chicks and fertilised eggs from our property. I'm based on the Central Coast and can travel to some parts of Sydney and towards Newcastle (travel fee applies). The set up includes an incubator with 8-10 fertilised eggs to watch hatch and some newbie chicks to hold from the start. Families are able to adopt the chicks (must have complete set up) or they come back to my property to grow! If the chick hatch process isn't for you, I also offer educational incursions where I come to you and run educational, hands-on lessons in Early Childhood, Primary and Vacation care settings.
