SEWING CLASSES WITH LOUISE MARIE BACK (BA ART) ESTABLISHED 2009 Bicton, WA ADULT CREATIVE SEWING CLASSES - TERM 3, 2024 MAXIMUM 5 STUDENTS Classes are suitable for the absolute beginner and those with more sewing experience. Small classes ensure that I am able to give focused attention to each student. All sewing skills such as dressmaking, reading patterns, simple pattern making, inserting zips, button holes, over-locking, hemming, hand sewing, alterations, revamping clothing and more are taught as required. I work with your current capabilities and help you to extend your skills. Bring along your pattern, fabric and thread and I can show you how to make adults’ and children’s clothing, fabulous cushions and other home-wares, handbags, toys, quilts, Christmas decorations, appliquéd wall art etc. I can help you with any project you are currently working on or offer suggestions to help get you started. Come along to sew, learn new skills and have fun in a relaxed environment! TUESDAY: 16th July - 10th September, 10.00 am - 12.00 pm (9 Classes) - $380.00 WEDNESDAY: 17th July - 11th September, 9.30am - 11.30am (9 Classes) - $380.00 THURSDAY: 18th July - 12th September, 9.30 am - 11.30 am (9 Classes) - $380.00 CHILDREN'S AFTER SCHOOL CREATIVE SEWING CLASSES - TERM 3, 2024 MAXIMUM 6 STUDENTS Give your child the enjoyment of exploring colour and design and becoming skilled in machine and hand sewing techniques in a relaxed, nurturing environment. Children will be inspired to create skirts, dresses, tops, shorts, PJs, aprons, bags, cushions, note book holders, Christmas decorations, appliquéd wall art, stuffed animals and other soft toys or projects of their choice. All abilities and interests are catered for. Children can work from simple projects to more advanced dressmaking using purchased patterns or creating and designing their own. I have many gorgeous and interesting patterns in my studio to choose from.
