****The following is a brief overview of the apartment's standard cancellation policy. For full terms and conditions, please refer to the apartment's "Booking Terms and Conditions". ***Policies are subject to real-time changes; please refer to the apartment's contract for the definitive version. # Apartment Subletting, Contract Assignment, and Early Termination Policy Subletting and contract assignment are permitted. A fee of AUD 100 applies per contract amendment. Detailed rules for contract amendments will be explained to you by the apartment management. Email notification deadlines for early termination are as follows: Under New South Wales legislation, if you request early termination during the initial lease term, you must send an email notification to the apartment at least two weeks in advance; if you request early termination after lease extension, you must send an email notification at least three weeks in advance. If you fail to send the early termination email within the legally required timeframe, the apartment will calculate rent charges based on the actual date it receives your termination email: extending the lease by two weeks for terminations requested within the original lease term, or by three weeks for terminations requested beyond the original lease term.
