But rather I envisage a palette of sounds leaning into keyboards, synths, winds, strings, electric and nylon guitar, fretless / jazz / funk bass, \"exotic\" percussion and rhythm programming etc etc.\n\nI have an understated vocal style that could lend itself to a place in the songs, but even there I am open to passing (or sharing) the mantle with someone more capable. I have previously sung in both band & choral music ensembles, but my voice at present is a little rusty due to lack of practice.\n\nMy main concern is to bring this music to life by involving more capable performers into the material - initially to explore home recordings and demos, ultimately with a view to wider release in some form, but not to rule out live performance if the results demand it, and the personnel are available.\n\nThe Youtube playlist \"Song sketches and demos\" on my Channel \"Tim Mortimer\" / @aranyawaasii contains my initial ideas, most of which have been quickly sketched and written and one-take demoed in the last month or 2.
