Position Overview The Spectator is expanding its global editorial operation and is seeking a talented and self-sufficient Night Editor to join our growing team. Based in Sydney (or the surrounding region), this remote role provides vital overnight coverage for The Spectator’s UK and global operations — ensuring that newsletters are drafted, the news agenda is monitored, and breaking stories are surfaced while London sleeps. Working closely with our editorial and production teams in London, you will play a key role in transforming our newsletter output and strengthening our round-the-clock news operation. This role is ideal for someone with excellent editorial judgement, strong writing and editing skills, and a sharp eye for news and current affairs. The 1000heads APAC team are looking for a talented Group Account Director to join our team. A GAD at 1000heads is the business owner for two or more accounts (dependent on account scale). A GAD will be responsible for the development and quality control of each account. Ultimately, the GAD will own the client relationship and lead the creation and delivery of our work, ensuring strategic accuracy and creative quality. You’ll will take on a dual role that blends client services expertise with hands-on social media execution. You will take ownership of client accounts, executing the strategy, and working with your direct reports to plan the delivery of social media campaigns. You will be the POC for senior clients (mostly based in Melb), face of new business pitches and a senior head within our growing Melbourne office. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with some of the Australia’s biggest brands such as Isuzu, EnergyAustralia, Live Nation, Hisense and more. They will integrate other functions (e.g. Developers or Videographers) from across the agency into the process as and when they are needed. Delivery of social The GAD will take a high level view on the delivery of work, ensuring creative assets produced are true to the client approved plan, that performance targets are being met, streams are optimised when required and servicing levels are as they should be.
