We are seeking a proactive and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our Maryborough macadamia operations. This hands-on leadership role will support the development of large-scale farming systems by maintaining farm plant and equipment, leading repairs, and contributing to the design and improvement of machinery and infrastructure. Key Responsibilities: Reporting to the Operations Manager you will be responsible for: Maintaining and repairing farm plant and equipment to minimise downtime Developing a workshop maintenance plan and documentation Leading the safe and timely delivery of workshop and field maintenance tasks Assisting in the design, modification, and installation of new and existing farming equipment Protecting and maintaining company assets across multiple farm sites Contribute to maintenance budgets and capital expenditure planning Supporting safety systems, processes, and training in line with WHS requirements Acting as a role model for safe and ethical work behaviour Supervising or working independently across various farm locations Requirements The following criteria are essential to be successful in this position: Certificate III or higher in an Engineering trade (mechanical) At least 5 years of relevant trade experience, ideally in an agricultural setting Strong skills in plant maintenance, troubleshooting and fabrication Experience with farm irrigation systems, GPS, and machinery (preferred) Sound computer literacy, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook Current C-class driver’s licence Forklift licence (required) Additional tickets (crane, loader, rigger/dogger) are advantageous Excellent communication, planning, and problem-solving skills Benefits A competitive salary dependant on experience and qualifications Ongoing training and development opportunities Salary continuance insurance and life insurance (subject to eligibility criteria) Annual discretionary bonus (subject to eligibility criteria) Access to Employee Assistance Program How to Apply: Please submit your cover letter addressing the requirements and key responsibilities, along with your resume to people@ruralfunds.com.au by 15 August 2025.
