The top-tier GT model maintains its 480 hp and 600 lb-ft output, but a new Performance Upgrade (standard on the Rally trim, optional on the GT) boosts torque to 700 lb-ft. According to Ford, this makes it the quickest Mach-E ever, achieving a 0-60 mph time of just 3.3 seconds—a 0.2-second improvement over the previous GT Performance Edition. This upgrade is achieved through modified thermal-management programming for the electric motors, and importantly, GT owners can purchase and enable this software upgrade at a later date if they don't select it initially.
