This position is based at our brand new and rapidly expanding Manufacturing facility based in Morgan Park, Qld, only 2 hours from Brisbane and 1 hour from Toowoomba. ABOUT THE ROLE We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Assembly Worker to join our manufacturing team specializing in the assembly of custom service bodies made in-house. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, mechanically minded, and able to work effectively as part of a team to ensure high-quality product output within specified timelines. This role involves assembling fabricated components, following technical drawings, using hand and power tools, and contributing to a clean and safe workspace. Key Tasks and Responsibilities: · Assemble service bodies and components according to work instructions and engineering drawings · Fit and secure pre-fabricated panels, frames, doors, and other structural components · Operate a variety of hand and power tools and machinery safely and effectively · Conduct visual inspections to ensure build quality and adherence to specifications · Install wiring, lighting, seals, latches, hinges, and other fit-out items · Collaborate with welders, fabricators, and other team members during build processes · Read and interpret technical drawings, BOMs (Bills of Materials), and build sheets · Identify and report any faults or defects during the build process · Maintain a clean and organized work area · Follow all workplace safety guidelines and wear appropriate PPE Experience Required: · Experience using hand and power tools in a workshop or trade setting · Previous work in a manufacturing, mechanical assembly, or similar hands-on environment · Comfortable reading basic technical drawings or diagrams · Understanding of safe work practices and PPE usage · Ability to follow instructions and work both independently and as part of a team · Good attention to detail and pride in producing quality work · Basic mechanical aptitude or interest in fabrication and assembly www.rxi.com.au Interested in joining our team?
