OB1 Auto Mechanics is currently seeking an experienced mechanic to join our team in Malaga, where you will conduct servicing and maintenance on a wide range of vehicles. About you: - Cert III or higher qualification and as a Light Vehicle Mechanic - Have 5 years experience as a Qualified Light Vehicle Mechanic in a workshop environment - Strong ability to produce a high standard of work within a fast-paced environment - A Team player with a desire to grow & develop a rewarding long-term career - Results driven with strong eye for detail & technical/mechanical ability - Positive calm demeanour, punctual with a strong work ethic - Excellent communication skills both oral & written - Reliable, conscientious, adaptable and customer focused - Knowledge and operation of all relevant Health & Safety regulations - Valid Full Australian Manual Drivers Licence (Essential) Position Description: - Providing expert advice in relation to mechanical condition of vehicles - Mechanical vehicle repair and servicing including engine, transmission, body, and suspension components - Reporting all necessary work, service or repairs to the Service Manager and recording information using service reporting systems - Test driving and conducting final assessments prior to the return of vehicles to the customer - Always maintaining a safe working environment - Other general workshop duties where required Benefits include: - Base remuneration for this full-time role will be [$75,000 - $80,000] - Large & modern workshop with excellent working conditions and a supportive team - Free staff parking - Discounts of parts and services Job Type: Full-Time Position Hours: Monday to Friday 8:00AM to 5:00PM - NO WEEKEND WORK Schedule: 8 hour shift - 1 hour lunch (unpaid) + Mid-morning break (paid) Experience: Mechanic: 5 years (Essential) Licence/Certification: Australian Manual Driver Licence (Essential) Work Authorisation: To be considered for this position, applicants must have full working rights in Australia.
