Our core business is moving large organisations' services to the cloud, and delivering UX-led applications with our powerful in-house CI/CD tooling. We build software for customers and supply internal development and infrastructure teams using the experience we've baked into our products. We believe developers should be able to push high quality software to production on a daily basis, even in heavily regulated organisations. Our pipelines assure delivery quality and timelines. We manage public and private cloud infrastructure, from on-premise to GCP, AWS, and Azure. We assure project delivery by using tried and true software delivery and managed infrastructure patterns. We’ve implemented the same patterns across diverse customers and industries, which helps us tune them. We like motivated leaders, self-starters. We are extremely delivery focused for our customers, and their business outcomes are central to our prioritisation and decision making. Your experience and judgment joins ours to make design choices that balance flexibility with delivery. This includes ability to size and estimate your own work and to ask the right questions of the right people. Our customers look to us for technical leadership. To us senior means you have a range of experience and the scars to show for it, which provide you the ability to deliver great software efficiently, and work with other seniors in our customers' teams effectively. You will be an analytical person and will be naturally curious to understand the platform. You will be able to maintain calmness when dealing with high pressure incidents (certainly not a regular occurrence for us). Ideally you will have strong and proven production quality experience with: Terraform (amazon 5 years) GCP or AWS (5 years) Kubernetes (3 years) Bash Scripting (5+ years) Jenkins (3 years) Maven or equivalent tool (1 year) capacity planning and performance testing. (3 years) Also having experience with monitoring platforms such as Dynatrace, Datadog or New Relic is desired. Benefits The sky is the limit when working at Practiv. Our people are talented and driven and we help them achieve their career goals. We care about your experience, and your future. We reflect this with a market leading salary, benefits, and we will support your development goals as a team with a lot of expertise and energy. As expected in 2025, flexible working to suit your lifestyle is encouraged. You'll work on top tier projects. We're leading some of AU's biggest corporates in moving core business services to the cloud, bringing exciting complexity to challenge you, with lots of development opportunities as a result. Modern technology and patterns. We're micro service and cloud-native with mature devops. Our management team are technical. We've been focused on best practice for 20 years and you'll feel those benefits. Our Build and Run patterns mean we often push software to production multiple times per day even for large corporates so you'll be in an environment that promotes such outcomes.
