To support our rapid growth and dynamic workplace, we are now seeking an experienced and proactive HR Specialist to join our Sydney head office. About the Role As an HR Specialist at TMGM, you will play a key role in supporting our people strategy and enhancing employee experience across all departments. You will act as a trusted adviser to management and staff, providing expert guidance on HR matters, ensuring compliance with employment legislation, and contributing to a positive and high-performing culture. Key Responsibilities: Provide daily HR support to managers and staff on employee relations, performance, and workplace matters. Manage end-to-end recruitment, from job ads to interviews and hiring decisions. Coordinate onboarding for new employees, including contracts, inductions, and compliance checks. Assist in updating and implementing HR policies and procedures in line with legislation. Maintain accurate HR records and employee data in the HRIS system. Support performance review processes and employee development initiatives. Stay informed on relevant employment laws, awards, and compliance requirements. Requirements Minimum 1 year’s work experience in performing the above tasks in a similar role. Tertiary qualification in the related field. Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation and HR best practices. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a problem-solving mindset. Able to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Experience in the financial services industry is an advantage, but not required.
