Our Lead Data Scientist role is pivotal in driving advanced analytics strategies that create competitive advantages and foster innovation. As a Lead Data Scientist at Infosys, you will lead a team to design and implement cutting-edge data solutions. You will leverage machine learning and statistical techniques to derive insights from complex datasets and help organizations make data-driven decisions. This role will require strong expertise in data modeling, algorithm development, and machine learning in addition to excellent communication skills to convey findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Requirements Key Responsibilities: Hands-on lead in developing and deploying machine learning models to solve key business challenges. Design and implement algorithms that work on large datasets using tools such as Python, R, and SQL. Guide the development of data pipelines and data architecture to facilitate analytics processes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data science solutions into business operations. Evaluate model performance and conduct statistical analysis to provide actionable insights. Present complex data findings to stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner. Stay updated with the latest advancements in data science techniques and tools. Mentor junior data scientists and contribute to their professional development. Qualifications: Proven experience as a Data Scientist or similar role (5+ years preferred). Strong programming skills in Python, R, and familiarity with Big Data platforms (e.g., Hadoop, Spark). Extensive experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn). Solid understanding of statistics and experience with statistical analysis techniques. Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) for presenting analytics results. Excellent problem-solving abilities and experience in transforming data into actionable insights. Strong leadership skills with experience in managing a team or project. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in specific industries such as finance, retail, or healthcare. Familiarity with cloud-based solutions for data analytics (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Experience with deployment of machine learning models in production environments.
