The Squiz product team is working to deliver a cloud-based Digital Experience Platform (DXP) with several core capabilities including Content Management, Optimisation tooling, and Platform services. We're seeking a Senior Fullstack Software Engineer (backend leaning) to join our product engineering team on a permanent basis, with a focus on improving capability across various parts of the DXP. If of interested in getting exposure to AI and you have a desire to learn and work with some impressive engineers in this space we have a few roles in this space also. We’re location-flexible!  This role is open to all candidates on the east coast of Australia. This role is hybrid, allowing you to work where and when works best for you. For this role, we ask that you can demonstrate the following experience: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience in related fields 5+ years of professional hands-on experience in software development building and maintaining large-scale software products Proficiency in full-stack development, with expertise in web based languages and frameworks including Node, TypeScript, React or similar, and cloud platforms such as AWS Strong understanding of testing principles and demonstrated experience in implementing testing strategies to improve software quality and robustness Experience with Agile or other iterative development methodologies. We use Scrum for most of the teams, with some using Kanban Strong understanding of secure coding practices, particularly community standards such as OWASP Previous experience mentoring junior and mid level software engineers Nice to have Previous experience working on DXP or CMS platforms, or experience integrating or using DXP/CMS platforms Previous experience creating or maintaining site builders, page builders or WYSIWYG interfaces  What you would do (the role day to day):  Work within a team of 3-5 software engineers to help build our Digital Experience Platform. CSIRT provide proactive and reactive expertise to help organisations respond to major cybersecurity incidents.  In this role you will be responsible for the delivery of digital forensics & incident response (DFIR) engagements, and proactive advisory engagements such as the delivery of tabletop exercises, compromise assessments & threat hunting, breach readiness assessments, threat intelligence briefings, & threat modelling. You will be expected to lead DFIR engagements across either Australia or New Zealand.   We are seeking a candidate who has extensive experience investigating and responding to major cybersecurity incidents, and possesses excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.  Due to the nature of our client, you must be an Australian Citizen and be able to achieve Australian Government NV1 clearance to be successful in your application for this role. What You’ll Do   As a Senior Cybersecurity Incident Responder, you will:  Conduct thorough investigations into major security incidents, determining root causes, impact, and mitigation strategies. Providing expertise and support to contain, eradicate, and recover from such security incidents.  Conduct analysis of affected systems utilising forensic techniques to thoroughly examine system events and adversary activities.  Utilise security tooling such as EDR, SIEM, XDR, & Identity technologies to assist your investigation of confirmed or suspected compromises.  Undertake log & correlation analysis and construct a timeline of adversary activities.  Identify intrusion vectors & root causes and develop recommendation actions to prevent similar incidents.  Collect digital forensics evidence from affected systems in accordance with industry standards for image acquisition and preservation of digital evidence.  Produce comprehensive, detailed DFIR reports outlining the investigative steps undertaken, your findings, and recommendations.  Support the coordination of containment, eradication and recovery efforts based on available information and established processes.   Analysis of incident response effort, with feedback from the customer and third parties as part of Post Incident Reviews (PIRs) and Lessons Learned.  Deliver proactive incident response services which include tabletop exercises, threat hunting, compromise assessments, breach readiness assessments, threat intelligence briefings, and threat modelling.  Communicate with senior stakeholders within Datacom and our customers.  Work with other members of the CSIRT team, to develop the technical capabilities of the CSIRT - including improving the processes and technology to deliver successful outcomes to customers and stakeholders.  Participate in an on-call roster for major incident response.  Occasional planned or last-minute/urgent travel to customer sites will be required for certain customer facing engagements. You will join a wider Delivery team of engineers, analysts, data scientists and architects focused on achieving the best outcomes for our clients.  You will be part of the Project Management practice, a global network of project and programme management professionals within Quantexa, a group designed to support your career development and ensure you fulfil your full potential.  As well as working with some of the largest and most prestigious organisations in the world, you will also be working hand in hand with our delivery partner network, which includes the big four consultancies as well as major systems integrators.    What you’ll be doing.  You will take full ownership of the delivery of Quantexa projects end-to-end, putting your arms around all aspects, actively mitigating risks and issues, driving high standards of quality and best practice and being in full control of the costs, timelines and scope.  You’ll drive successful outcomes - delivering projects in the most optimal way that realise maximum value to our clients.  Managing the commercial and financial aspects of your projects, working with our clients to agree contracts for professional services, using both Time and Materials (T&M) and Fixed Priced constructs.  Coaching and mentoring your technical teams to ensure they have the skills and capabilities necessary to produce high quality deliverables to our clients.  Working and learning with a high degree of autonomy with minimal supervision, seeking and knowing when to engage the rest of the Quantexa organisation for support.  You will devise critical strategies to successfully manage your project stakeholders, both from the client as well as Quantexa leadership.   Requirements What you’ll bring.  You are an accomplished project management professional with strong leadership skills and a track record of delivering complex projects with excellent outcomes.  You are an expert on project methodologies and approaches such as Agile, can apply them to maximum effect and you appreciate how these methodologies and approaches can scale to multiple teams and functions.  You have broad stakeholder management experience either as a supplier delivering to clients, such as a consultancy or professional services organisation, or within a client-side environment.  You have experience of delivering large and complex data-driven projects through the full software lifecycle.  You have a good understanding of the technical aspects that impact the project outcomes and can grasp technical issues and devise mitigation strategies to address them.  You have a strong appreciation of the business purpose and drivers of your projects and direct the team to ensure that achieving them is paramount.  You are adept at operating in complex multi-team environments where you harness your skills and knowledge to influence other teams to deliver the best overall outcome.  You demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills, critical thinking and the ability to devise delivery solutions to address client challenges.  Exhibit strong technical communication skills with demonstrable experience of working in rapidly changing client environments.  Have an excellent appreciation of what makes a high quality, operationally stable system and how to streamline all areas of development, release, and operations to achieve this.  You are a self-starter and bring a great deal of determination, initiative and tenacity to your projects.  Benefits Our perks and quirks.   What makes you Q will help you to realize your full potential, flourish and enjoy what you do, while being recognized and rewarded with our broad range of benefits.   We offer:  Competitive salary Company bonus  11.5% Superannuation 20 days annual leave, plus national holidays + your birthday off!
